On November 12th 2018, during the 13th Internet Governance Forum held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, french president Emmanuel Macron launched a new international initiative for tackling threats on the cyberspace, called the Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace.

"We recognize the necessity of a strengthened multistakeholder approach and of additional efforts to reduce risks to the stability of cyberspace and to build-up confidence, capacity and trust."

This announcement emphasizes the necessity of an interdisciplinary approach between state and non-state actors, between the private sector and civil society, in order to build a coherent response to the challenge of cybersecurity encompassing all aspects of the cyberspace. Therefore, the Grenoble Alpes Cybersecurity Institute, along with its partners CESICE and AMNECYS are proud to announce their participation as early supporters of this initiative.
